Day 1
Arrival in Oslo, Norway
  1. On arrival into Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL), you will be met by your guide and escorted to your airport hotel accommodation.

Day 2
Flight to Longyearbyen & Arctic Exploration
  1. Transfer to Oslo-Gardermoen Airport and fly to Longyearbyen, the polar city in the Svalbard archipelago.
  2. Upon arrival, be immersed in the Arctic landscapes of the Kingdom of the Polar Bear, home to extraordinary wildlife and natural beauty.
  3. After a bus transfer, check in to your hotel.
  4. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of Longyearbyen, exploring notable landmarks such as Longyear Valley, Hotellneset Peninsula, Adventalen Valley, and Mine 7, while learning about the city’s rich history and culture.
  5. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 3
Snowmobile Safari & Camp Barentz Experience
  1. Embark on a 5-hour snowmobile safari to Elveneset (approx. 70 km, 2.5–3 hours driving) through Svalbard’s pristine Arctic landscapes. If lucky, spot wildlife such as Svalbard reindeer and Arctic foxes. (Valid driving license required.)
  2. A light snack will be provided during the excursion.
  3. In the evening, head to Advent Valley and Camp Barentz at the base of Breinosa Mountain, where you’ll enjoy reindeer stew by a cozy campfire.
  4. Conclude the day with an informative session on the polar bear, the King of the Arctic.

Day 4
Ice Cave Exploration & Optional Dog Sledding
  1. Begin the day with an exciting Snowcat journey to the Longyear Glacier and descend into an ancient ice cave filled with frozen plant remains and mesmerizing glacial formations.
  2. Equipped with a headlamp, explore the narrow passages and expansive caverns, witnessing the region’s frozen history.
  3. This afternoon, opt for a magical dog sledding adventure through Bolterdalen (at additional cost).
  4. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Optional Tour
Dog Sledding in Bolterdalen
  1. Enjoy a scenic ride through the snow-covered Bolterdalen Mountains under the Arctic sun.
  2. Get equipped with thermal suits, boots, and mittens, then assist in preparing the eager sled dogs.
  3. As the sled glides through the quiet wilderness, immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Svalbard’s nature.
Day 5
Return to Oslo with Optional Coal Mine Tour
  1. After breakfast, enjoy free time or join an optional coal mine discovery tour.
  2. Transfer to the airport for your included flight back to Oslo.
  3. On arrival, be transferred to your airport hotel accommodation.

Discovery of a Historical Coal Mine
  1. Visit Mine 3, operational from 1971 to 1996, and explore preserved mining facilities and artifacts.
  2. Step into the lives of Svalbard’s miners on a 3-hour guided tour, outfitted with a miner’s suit, headlamp, and helmet.

Departure
  1. Today marks the end of your tour as you check-out from the hotel.
