Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport (CPT), you will be warmly greeted in the arrivals hall by a local representative who will transfer you to your hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure. Cape Town
  1. Discover the breathtaking heights of Table Mountain, soaring above the clouds in Cape Town. As one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and one of the most photographed sites in South Africa, Table Mountain is recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of Nature. Since the aerial cableway began operating in 1929, over 22 million visitors from around the world have ascended to its summit. At the upper cable station, guests can enjoy a restaurant, a curio shop, and scenic footpaths perfect for exploration.
  2. A drive through the city center highlights historic landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope (built in 1666), City Hall, and the Grand Parade. As you travel along Adderley Street, you’ll pass St. George’s Cathedral, the Company Gardens, and the vibrant Malay Quarter, also known as Bo-Kaap—named “Above Cape” for its location on the slopes of Table Mountain. In the early 18th century, enslaved individuals from Java, Ceylon, and other regions were brought to Cape Town, and after the abolition of slavery, their descendants, the Cape Malays, established this culturally rich community.
  3. This evening, enjoy a traditional South African experience as you dine at the Gold Restaurant. The dinner begins with the drumbeat of the djembe drum and an interactive drum circle and you will then be lead into a courtyard where you will ceremoniously wash your hands before the feast begins. This 14 course set menu is authentically Cape Malay and African cuisine, while you are entertained by live performances near your table. Cape Town
  1. Spend the day exploring South Africa’s famous Cape Peninsula, taking in some of the beautiful scenery and iconic sights including:
  2. Chapmans Peak Drive: The route starts at the picturesque fishing harbour of Hout Bay and the climb winds steeply up to Chapmans Point, revealing breath taking views of the sandy bays down below, until the road reaches lower levels again at Noordhoek.
  3. Cape of Good Hope: ‘The Fairest Cape in all the World’ – Rich in cultural and natural heritage this is one of the top tourist destinations in South Africa. Due to the variety of wildlife that occurs here it is the only section that is fenced and visitors should look out for Eland, Red Hartebeest, Be sure to visit the Buffelsfontein Visitor Centre that showcases all the plants and animals to look out for in a particular season and is full of informative signage. At the point, visitors are treated to excellent viewing opportunities from both lighthouses that adorn the most south western point in Africa, one still fully functional. The lighthouse is accessible by foot or the funicular railway.
  4. Boulders Penguin Colony: Located on the Cape Peninsula, in Simon’s Town, a suburb of Cape Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is also commonly known as Boulders Bay. It is a popular tourist spot because of a colony of African penguins which settled there in 1982.

Cape Town Stellenbosch
  1. Today, head towards the world famous winelands region of South Africa. Stellenbosch Kruger National Park
  1. At the relevant time, you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport in time for your included flight to Kruger National Park. On the banks of the Sabie River, near the town of Hazyview is where you will find the Sabi River Sun Resort. It is a magnificent golf resort that is a short distance from the renowned Kruger National Park as well as the Panorama Route. The resort is an activity lovers paradise and has an 18-hole golf course, three tennis courts, five swimming pools, a bowling green, squash court and a jogging trail. Nature walks are a highlight here and sightings of resident crocodiles and hippos are commonplace. The Hippopotamus Restaurant serves delicious meals and the Waterhole Bar is the perfect setting for socialising.

Day 7
Kruger National Park
  1. Morning Game Drive: Before the African sun begins to warm the bushveld, the safari departs from Umbhaba Eco Lodge in Hazyview. Early mornings are the prime time to witness wildlife in action, as predators like leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, and lions are most active during the cooler hours. The game drive lasts approximately three hours before a breakfast break at a scenic picnic spot or rest camp.
  2. After breakfast or a light snack, guests will visit nearby waterholes, where animals gather to quench their thirst before the heat of the day sets in. Our highly experienced and certified guides ensure an informative and immersive safari experience.
  3. Afternoon Game Drive: Although many animals rest during the midday heat, an afternoon safari offers the advantage of real-time updates from earlier sightings, allowing guides to track and locate exciting wildlife encounters. Watering holes become hotspots for activity as animals seek to cool down, and few sights are as captivating as elephants playfully splashed in the river.

  1. Transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in time for your included flight to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Zimbabwe is a stunning destination for its raw beauty and world class safaris. A landlocked country in southern Africa known for its reserves and national parks, brimming with natural wonder. Here, guests can enjoy deluxe accommodation and exquisite cuisines. The spectacular landscape of this African land shares the Victoria Falls and Zambezi River with its neighbour, Zambia. Victoria Falls

  1. Depart early, on a journey to Chobe National Park in Botswana will be transferred to the Kazungula border post, where they will meet their Botswana guide. From there, they head directly to the Chobe River for a morning of game viewing by boat, offering a unique perspective on the park’s diverse wildlife. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided during the cruise, which concludes around 12:30.
  2. Following the cruise, guests will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge, situated along the riverbank. In the afternoon, they will switch to safari vehicles for an exciting game drive through Chobe National Park, renowned for its rich wildlife population. After an unforgettable day of exploration, guests will be transferred back to the border, returning to Victoria Falls at approximately 18:30.

Victoria Falls
  1. Following breakfast, your guide will lead you on a tour of Victoria Falls, revered by the local Kololo tribe as Mosi oa Tunya, meaning “the smoke that thunders.” We will then journey to Kasane in Botswana, the entry point to Chobe National Park. Chobe, the second largest national park in Botswana, spans 10,566 square kilometers and boasts one of Africa’s largest populations of elephants. The afternoon offers free time to engage in optional activities or unwind by the pool.

Chobe National Park

  2. Hwange National Park stands as one of Africa’s premier wildlife sanctuaries, renowned for its impressive populations of elephants, buffalo, and zebra. The park also boasts a significant concentration of giraffes and is a haven for various predators and endangered species, alongside a rich diversity of birdlife.
  3. If time permits, you may choose to join an optional afternoon game drive within the concession upon arrival before we enjoy dinner at the at the lodge.

Hwange National Park
  1. Today, we journey to the Mlibizi area on Lake Kariba, where we’ll embark on a luxurious two-night houseboat excursion. Surrounded by mountains, Lake Kariba is a vast man-made reservoir renowned for its abundant wildlife and dramatic natural scenery shaped by sun, storms, and the elements. Our cruise will navigate between Mlibizi and the Msuna River, offering a sunset cruise with opportunities for game viewing. We’ll conclude the day with drinks and dinner aboard the houseboat, savoring the tranquil beauty of the lake under the evening sky.

Lake Kariba

Lake Kariba
  1. Upon disembarking, we begin an early morning journey from Msuna to the magnificent Matobo Hills, a region of unparalleled natural beauty, rich tribal history, and dramatic rock formations. This national park holds UNESCO World Heritage status and is habitat to both white and black rhinoceros, as well as sable antelope. The area boasts prolific birdlife, including the highest concentration of black eagles worldwide. Once home to the San (Bushman) people, it also features the richest collection of rock art globally. Notably, it is where the Ndebele people buried their esteemed king, Mzilikazi, and where Cecil John Rhodes chose to be interred on the “Hill of the Benevolent Spirit,” also known as “World’s View.”

In the afternoon, we embark on a game drive, encountering the park’s diverse wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Motobo National Park
  1. Leaving the captivating Matobo Hills behind, we traverse the savannas of southern Matebeleland on our journey to Botswana. In the afternoon, we explore the Nata Bird Sanctuary, offering splendid views of the Sowa Pan within the Greater Makgadikgadi Pans complex. Later in the afternoon, we reach our lodge, where we can relax and unwind after a day of scenic exploration and wildlife encounters.

Nata
  1. We depart early for Planet Baobab near Gweta, starting an expedition to Ntwetwe Pan, a vast salt pan within the Makgadikgadi Pans. This lunar-like landscape features rocky outcrops, dunes, and islets along its western shore, home to desert-adapted species like bat-eared foxes, springbok, kori bustards, and meerkats. Through a habituation program, we observe these creatures up close, witnessing their social behaviors and adaptations.
  2. After lunch, we visit a nearby village to experience modern African village life, guided by a local expert. We explore ‘Sekolo,’ the local primary school with outdoor classes, and the traditional Kgotla village court. Later, we stroll through a baobab grove, learning about their unique biology from our guide.

Gweta
  1. Today, we journey to Maun, a vibrant safari hub and gateway to the Okavango Delta. Derived from the San word “maung,” meaning “the place of short reeds,” Maun offers a cultural glimpse into Botswana’s indigenous heritage. The afternoon invites leisurely pursuits, whether lounging by the lodge pool or opting for an exhilarating optional scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and wildlife.

Day 13
Maun
  1. Following breakfast, we drive to the mokoro station to embark on a unique adventure. Drifting in dug-out canoes through the dense vegetation of the Okavango Delta, we discover a diverse array of birds and wildlife. Unlike typical deltas, the Okavango flows inland to the Kalahari Desert without reaching the coast. After this memorable excursion and a satisfying lunch, we proceed to our camp located in a private concession within the Greater Moremi area. Settling in, we enjoy dinner before embarking on an exhilarating night game drive in the concession. This provides an excellent opportunity to encounter nocturnal animals rarely seen during daylight hours.

Greater Moremi Area
  1. Today, we venture into the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, celebrated as one of Africa’s most stunning and diverse wildlife reserves. Renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife, Moremi offers a pristine natural environment teeming with an incredible variety of animals. Throughout the day, we experience the untouched landscapes of Moremi, exploring its vast expanses and encountering iconic African wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalo. The reserve’s diverse habitats, from lush floodplains to dense forests and winding water channels, provide a perfect backdrop for observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for a final dinner under the stars this evening.

Johannesburg
  1. After breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby at 9am for your road transfer to Kruger National Park. Your home for the next three nights is a beautiful eco lodge located in the town of Hazyview and just a 15-minute drive to the famous Kruger National Park gates.
  2. This afternoon, venture into Kruger National Park on an open vehicle safari. Experience the thrill of encountering the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros—amidst stunning landscapes.   1. Welcome to Victoria Falls! Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA), you’ll be greeted by a local representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy leisure activities in Victoria Falls and later this evening, at 6pm, you will gather with your guide and fellow travelers at the lodge for a pre-departure meeting.

Victoria Falls — Chobe National Park
  1. Following breakfast, your guide will lead you on a tour of Victoria Falls. We will then journey to Kasane in Botswana, the entry point to Chobe National Park. Chobe is home to Africa’s largest population of elephants. The afternoon offers free time to engage in optional activities or unwind by the pool.
