Overview

New Zealand's South Island packs more dramatic scenery into a single landmass than almost anywhere on earth. This 11-day Skymate journey covers the full circuit -from the Southern Alps and Fiordland's glacial fiords to the turquoise bays of Abel Tasman and the art and wine culture of Nelson. Ten nights of accommodation, daily transport, and a curated mix of guided activities are all built in.

Itinerary Highlights

• Days 1- -Christchurch: Arrival, city orientation, Botanic Gardens, and Lyttelton Harbour. Overnight Christchurch.
• Days 3- -West Coast: Drive through Arthur's Pass National Park, stopping at Otira Viaduct. Continue to Franz Josef Glacier for a guided glacier walk briefing.
• Days 5- -Queenstown: Transfer south through Wanaka. Queenstown lakefront, Skyline Gondola, and optional Shotover Jet or bungee experience.
• Days 7- -Milford Sound: Full-day Milford Road scenic drive and fiord cruise. Overnight Te Anau with glowworm caves visit option.
• Days 9-0 -Abel Tasman / Nelson: Fly or drive north to Nelson. Half-day Abel Tasman coastal walk and water taxi. Nelson wine and arts district evening.
• Day 11 -Departure: Final morning in Nelson or transfer to Christchurch for your onward flight.
